Caron

Dr Caron Egle

Caron is a recognised global thought leader and specialist with over 35 years’ experience in designing fit-for purpose collective leadership programs that results in a shift in leadership culture, practice and mindset.  This includes supporting senior leaders to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty, forge connections and foster a strong, integrous, agile organisational culture, manage and foster greater diversity, while supporting leaders to be flexible, adaptable and committed to life-long learning.  She does this by developing programs that incorporate systemic adaptive vertical development of leaders, the neuroscience of thinking and accelerated, transformational learning, neuroleadership, personal, team and organisational transformation, innovation, and developing leaders to facilitate complex change and complex adaptive systems.  Caron is the founder and managing director of SAGE Thinking, which she established in 2002.

As a leadership coach, educator, researcher, author and consultant, Caron works closely with senior leaders, CEO’s, and senior executive teams to help them grow to lead complex organisational change, particularly strategic transformation of people and culture.  Caron has extensive experience in the design and co-creation, development and facilitation of leadership learning programs and materials, and has taught adult learning and instructional design on the Graduate Diploma of Tertiary Teaching and Learning.  Caron’s Master of Education research was in Multiple Intelligence Theory and Adult Transformational Learning, which she evolved into accelerated learning methodologies to optimise the experience of adult learners. 

Caron has worked across a variety of sectors including the public sector, professional services, the tertiary sector and the not-for-profit sector to facilitate leader development and organisational change. 

Caron has deep insight into the issues that keep senior leaders awake at night, including complex and wicked problems and difficult people issues.  Some of these issues include managing performance of colleagues, managing up, confidence and imposter syndrome, navigating the mates to manager dynamic, setting and managing expectations, power and authority, ethical decision-making in a volatile ambiguous environment, navigating complexity, managing risk, conflict resolution and courageous conversations.  

Caron utilises her extensive expertise in vertical stage development to foster the mindset evolution to achieve systemic distributed leadership needed to facilitate organisational and societal transformation.

Caron has a range of qualifications to support her extensive experience including Doctor of Education, Master of Education, Graduate Certificate in Management, Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Education, Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.  Caron’s Doctor of Education (EdD) research was on Complexity and Leadership Development utilising an adult constructive development framework.  

Caron is a Master Practitioner and Trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, TimeLine Therapy, and Hypnosis.  She is also an internationally accredited Action Inquiry Coach and MBTI practitioner.

Kylie Holyland

Kylie is a passionate facilitator, coach and educator with 30 years of experience working in human resources, leadership and management for organisations in both the private and public sector.

Kylie has delivered a range of people development solutions, enabling creative, consultative and collaborate approaches to support individuals, teams and organisations to transform to a culture of excellence.

Kylie has coached senior leaders in the workplace and understands the critical leadership role they play in aligning and positioning the organisation to achieve its mission, whilst balancing Ministerial, workforce and stakeholder priorities.  She is experienced in helping Band 2 leaders to see, understand and navigate the interplay of the complex systems they work in.  Kylie coaches leaders to get comfortable with uncertainty, especially where they have responsibility for delivery without being able to have their hands on the levers

Through individual and group work, Kylie helps leaders to think, act and thrive in a digital world in a way that is sustainable over time.  Kylie brings her 30 years of leadership development experience, and knowledge of neuroscience and vertical stage development to facilitate Band 2 leaders’ self-awareness of their growth edge and the impact they have on others, in order to see further and engage differently and more wholistically.  In a workplace that is increasingly complex and individualised, Kylie helps leaders to develop the capability of individuals and groups of leaders to hold multiple perspectives, and to see the wider context and systems they and others operate so that they can create cultures where connection, communication, ethical leadership and stewardship are core. 

Kylie has studied neuroscience, human resources, mediation and conflict resolution, and psychology, and is accredited in HBDI and is a Certificated NLP Practitioner and coach.  Kylie holds international and Australian coaching credentials, and is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, (ICF).  Kylie is a past president of the ACT Branch of the International Coach Federation, and is a current member of a range of Australian professional organisations including ICF, AHRI, IPAA, Resolution Institute, and is an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders.
